铝镍钴（AlNiCo）是最早开发出来的一种永磁材料，是由铝、镍、钴、铁和其它微量金属元素构成的一种合金。铝镍钴永磁材料是20世纪30年代研制成功的。当时，它的磁性能最好，温度系数又小，因而在永磁电机中应用得最多、最广。

In the permanent magnet materials, cast Alnico permanent magnet has the lowest reversible temperature coefficient, operating temperature up to 600 degrees Celsius. Alnico permanent magnet products are widely used in various instruments and other applications.

铝镍钴系磁铁的优点是剩磁高（最高可达1.35T）、温度系数低。在温度系数为-0.02%/℃时，最高使用温度可达520℃左右。缺点是矫顽力非常低（通常小于160kA/m），退磁曲线非线性。因此铝镍钴磁铁虽然容易被磁化，同样也容易退磁。
